This Week in Destiny, we're reporting the latest from the Tower podium! Warlocks have held their early lead but Hunters aren't that far behind in this year's Guardian Games... for now. We all know how much can change in just a few days if any class rallies to seize the day.
- Guardian Games week two is underway
- Step up to the podium in our new Community Challenge
- Recognizing National Stress Awareness Month
- What's on tap in Destiny this weekend
Victory for any class is still within reach!
Guardian Games: Week 2
Week one of Guardian Games is in the books but there's two more weeks ahead to claim and slam Medallions! Again, no matter which class is winning right now, there's still plenty of time to change the course of this event. We all love a good comeback story, so let's make it happen, Hunters and Titans!
Focus on what's important: play smart and win fast to earn tons of points in the Guardian Games activities, no matter if you prefer Rushdown, Rush Remixed, or Supremacy. Get a few rolls of the three great weapons available, including their sparkling, beautiful, and rare holofoil versions!
A few of these special shinies are guaranteed in the Event Home Reward Pass, so maybe it's a good idea to concentrate on completing orders to progress it. In addition, you can also collect some fantastic accessories that are also featured in the pass.
Make your class proud, have fun, and remember that we are all Guardians in the end, so keep your cool even if those annoying know-it-all walking robes Warlocks are in the lead at the time of this writing.
How Are You Going for Guardian Games Gold?
This Guardian Games, we want to see your contributions to your team's victory in action! Whether it's your boss-melting skills in Rush Remixed, your “best-in-class" fashion sense of your class, or your most heroic pose on the Tower podium as you score Medallions for your team, show us how you're celebrating this year's event in our new Community Challenge: Going for Guardian Games Gold.
The basic rules for this Community Challenge follow:
- The goal is simple yet open: capture a moment, a highlight, or the kind of incredible feat that best represents how you're delivering the W for your class in this year's Guardian Games.
- We know that's a rather broad proposition but it's very intentional: you can make art, take a cool screenshot, assemble a video montage, or even craft puppets and stage a play... the choice is up to you!
- Capture a minimum of two screenshots for your submission. For submission formats other than screenshots, include two work-in-progress images. We like to see your work!
- Post the submission to Bluesky, Twitter/X, Instagram, or Reddit and include the hashtag #GuardianGamesGold to help us find it.
- Including the hashtag is not mandatory but helps us find your submission.
- Include your Bungie ID (with numbers) and up to two collaborators' Bungie IDs in your submission post.
- Bungie IDs added after initial submission are not eligible to receive a reward.
The reward for your effort will be the Golden Age emblem, shown below. We will have our first bunch of picks on the April 9 TWID and then a second set of picks on the next April 16 TWID.
As a reminder, here are general notes to bear in mind:
- Reward recipients are determined on a case-by-case basis by the Community Team.
- Emblems are distributed manually and should be expected to arrive within 30 days after the second TWID featuring our picks.
- The same submission may be shared across multiple social media platforms if the submission content and Bungie IDs are identical between the platform posts.
- Any use of generative AI is not allowed and will result in automatic disqualification. If we determine that generative AI was used in a winning submission, any reward granted may be revoked.
- Your Bungie account must be in good standing to receive a reward. If we determine your account has broken the Code of Conduct, any reward may be revoked and we may take further action against your account.
View the full set of Community Challenge rules on our newly updated Bungie Community Emblems guide. Also, as we've shared with past challenges, here's how to turn off the UI and get clean captures easily: open the Director screen, navigate to your Settings menu, go to the Gameplay tab, and set HUD Opacity to Off.
National Stress Awareness Month
Mental health matters. Join MentalHealth@Bungie this April in recognizing National Stress Awareness Month and making sure we all make time to prioritize our mental well-being.
This year, we are once again supporting Guardians Mental Health in their mission to bring mental health awareness to gamers. This non-profit has deep roots in the Destiny community and strives to make mental health accessible to all through their evidence-based tools, resources, and strategies—each carefully vetted by mental health professionals on their team.
In honor of National Stress Awareness Month, everyone who makes a $10 donation to Guardians Mental Health through the Bungie Foundation campaign will earn the Love is the Mind Saver emblem for Destiny 2. Through April 30, 2026, all net proceeds* will go to Guardians Mental Health. *Minus Tiltify and payment processing fees.
New for 2026 is the MentalHealth@Bungie Pin! Order the new Love Is The Mind Saver Collectible Pin and receive an accompanying code for the Love Is The Mind Saver emblem. With each purchase, $7 will be donated to the Bungie Foundation to Guardians Mental Health.
