Hey there prisoners! There's no rest for the wicked as we're gearing for the next update. See what's the team cooking up in this week's dev update ->
As is customary, we're starting things off with the programming team. What is also customary is the amount of bugfixing work that occurs after we launch a new update as we're quickly sifting through your reports and identifying issues and bugs that need fixing. Apart from that, some rogue elements within the team have started to get their hands on some of the new features that will come with the next update, such as the much anticipated inventory rework and more!
The level designers were mostly engaged with playtesting the game and are also turning their attention to some exciting long-term prospects for SCUM that we're not ready to talk about just yet, but you'll just have to take our word for it at the moment that it's going to be very, very awesome!
The entirety of the art team has mostly helped out with playtesting, with some specifics being worked on in specific departments. The 2D and hard surface guys have mostly been engaged with playtesting, while some specific team members within the animation department and soft surface have been working on animations for sickness and stun effect for NPCs, and on female clothes and other clothing items respectively.
The sound team also deep into bugfixing, as well as on the disease and barefoot sounds, and on reworking some old sounds.
And lastly we have the game designers that are also focused on bugfixing and on going through the feedback from the community.

Even though the update is also a bit on the weaker side this week, it is not out of the ordinary given the fact that we had an update. We promise that we'll have far more to share next week.
And last but certainly not the least we have a new info video for you from our good programmer Dominik, going into details with the new Encounter manager settings. Showing how it works and giving examples, helping you guys set them exactly how you want them.
