Time for some Spring Jam!
The word "jam" comes from the idea of squishing fruit until it spreads
Game Jam is a special time where our J-Mods roll up their sleeves, chase their creative sparks, and bring bold, imaginative ideas to lifemany inspired by your feedback!
Whether it's exciting new content, long-awaited fixes, or playful experiments, Game Jam is where some of RuneScapes most inventive updates are born. In fact, popular additions like Duck Quest and the Shooting Star rework first came to life during these development sprints!
This year's Game Jam runs from April 22nd to May 2nd.
Just a heads-up: everything shared from Game Jam is a work-in-progress. While some projects may look polished, they all go through further internal review, testing, and scheduling. Not every idea will make it to live servers, and we cant promise specific release datesbut were excited to show you whats being dreamed up behind the scenes!

Some eagle-eyed Scapers may have spotted that the Asgarnian Ice Dungeon is looking a little cooler lately and youd be right! As part of this years Blooming Burrow update, the frosty cavern received a surprise visual uplift.
While we had hoped to keep it under wraps a little longer, we try to slip in environment updates like this during development when we canand were thrilled to see youve noticed! We hope you enjoy the refreshed look next time you take a chilly stroll through the dungeon.

Fixes and Improvements in this Week's Game Update
PSA: There will be no patch notes today (April 22nd) or next Monday (April 28th)unless something critical crops up.
To give our developers the breathing room to dive fully into Game Jam, were pressing pause on non-essential patch notes during this period. Thanks for your understandingand we cant wait to share what comes out of this creative sprint!
Blooming Burrow Hotfixes
- Players can now request assistance to telegrab the golden egg.
- Fixed an issue that was allowing one of the week 2 Egg Hunt clues to be found early.
- Players can no longer teleport to private instance of Paddlington from instanced shards

A Spring Fling
Hop into spring with "A Spring Fling", one of our Affiliate Seasonal Spotlights hosted by the RuneScape Discord Server Affiliates! Our amazing affiliate communities are bringing the festive cheer with a basketful of Easter and spring-themed events guaranteed to put a spring in your step.
The highlight of the season? On Sunday, April 27th at 18:00 Game Time, join the Pink Skirts and the wider RuneScape Community for a charming Spring/Easter Parade! Well be hopping and bopping our way through Gielinor, starting from Lumbridge Crater and making our way to the Blooming Burrow Portal in Burthorpe. Expect delightful stops along the way for some bunny bopping fun, and once we arrive, well take time to explore the wonderfully whimsical Blooming Burrow together!
Come dressed in your seasonal best, bring your friends, and lets celebrate spring in style! 🌸🐰✨

PvP Showdown

This adrenaline-pumping event kicks off with a brutal Deathmatch free-for-allonly the sharpest and most strategic warriors will emerge as one of the top 16. From there, its onto bracket-style knockout rounds in the Clan Wars purple portal on day two, where the real battle begins.
