New Profane Scabarite Slayer monsters bring new opportunities!
Like sand? A scarab might...
From the sands of the Kharidian Desert comes a new terrifying Slayer monster! The Profane Scabarites, unholy creatures who have cast off the tenets of Scabaras, are on the move!
These malicious insects will swarm unsuspecting adventurers who stumble into their isolated cavern. Keep your wits about you, and avoid wandering into creepy caves near Pollnivneach - unless you want to fight them, of course.
These monsters require level 87 Slayer to fight, but persevere and you may get your hands on the new Spectral Lens, a new addition to the Slayer Helm that gives it Necromancy benefits.
New Premier Refresh
Premier Membership gets its yearly reward refresh. Premier Membership is the best value offer for dedicated RuneScape players, along with extra rewards such as monthly drops, increased bank space and exclusive cosmetics.
This year, we'll be including a few new additions to our yearly refresh:

The RuneScape Devourer Bundle

November 4th: J-Mod Stream - GIM photoshoot
Break out the group poses! Mod Yuey will be hanging out in game and on stream, inviting budding GIM teams to meet up with him for a fun photoshoot! The cameras will be rolling from 17:00 Game Time on World 11. See you there, or catch the stream live on our Official Twitch Channel.

Fixes and Improvements in this Week's Game Update
Hotfixed
- Existing Ironman players downgrading to Group Ironman are now able to properly trigger completed Achievements inside Journey Achievements.
- Updated the dialogue Ironman players see when speaking with Mr Ex about downgrading to become a Group Ironman, and added confirmation dialogue.
- Group Ironman and Competitive Group Ironman players will no longer get token XP when digging up artefacts in the Halloween Event area.
- Unranked Group Ironman players can now obtain XP from all sources at the Harvest Hollow event.
- Free-to-play accounts should now be able to consistently use bound keybinds again after logging into the server.
General
- Changed Premier Vault minigame requirements to reflect Competitive Group Ironmen not being able to access the minigame.
- Buffs granted by the Premier Artefact no longer tick down while not logged in.
- The 'Provisions Officer' Achievement will now correctly count resources gathered and sent to the Bank using Sign of the Porter or other items with similar abilities.
- Players can now choose between leg and foot trims for the eyes on the Froggly Outfit.
- Ironman players can now purchase the Plague Doctor Walk, Teleport and Rest Override Tokens, as well as the Zombie and Assassin Walk Override Tokens in the Grand Exchange.
- The "Vote Now!" highlight will no longer leave a transparent box when closing the Community interface.
- The GIM and CGIM chat badges now correctly display after joining or leaving a group.
- Added tooltips to Slayer Helmets and their damage boosting components.
- Reduced Slayer XP from Wilderness greater demon variants to reduce the impact of them warping lower level Slayer; they now give 0.04 XP per HP rather than 0.065 XP per HP.
- Also removed their additional killcount cost to make them favor Slayer wildcards slightly less. For example, a greater demon ashlord will now reduce normal Slayer count by 1 rather than 8.
