With todays patch, were super excited to roll out a brand-new Accessibility tab in the options menu!
This feature actually started as a Game Jam project from Mod Canine, and after some love and polish, its finally made its way into the game.
The new menu brings together current accessibility options like High Contrast Mode and Full-Screen Dialogue, plus a few new additions such as Full-Screen Menus and Cursor Resizing with even more on the way as we keep working to make the game better for everyone.
Looking forward
Over the last few months, weve been rethinking how we design, fund, and evolve the game to make sure every decision supports fair, rewarding, and lasting gameplay. Through our MTX Experiments, we've been engaging with the playerbase on what works for them and we are more confident than ever that dramatic, bold change is the right way forward.
Last week we started a vote for the future for the game led by integrity, where your achievements are based on merit, and the vast experiences offered within Gielinor can truly shine.
And you smashed it! Over 100k votes have already come in support and we aren't stopping there. The poll is still open until November 12th when we'll be announcing details on what comes next and when! Every vote still matters to signal your belief in this direction and increase our investment into our Integrity Roadmap!

A note about Future MTX Plans
As mentioned in the panel above, well be removing the Treasure Hunter system. This change will affect some of the Premier Membership benefits, such as the additional Treasure Hunter Keys. On November 12th, well share full details on whats changing and how it will impact Premier Membership.
Fixes and Improvements in this Week's Game Update
Accessibility Update
- The text for the Spirit Tree in Poison Waste now uses white text instead of blue.
- The middle mouse can now be used for camera control, when the full screen dialogue boxes option is turned on.
- The Accessibility settings have been moved to a dedicated tab within the settings menu.
- Full-screen interfaces can now be enabled on PC. This will make menus take up the entire screen and scale to the full resolution.
- Full-screen dialogue boxes are now less transparent for Mobile and PC when enabled.
- Full screen dialogue no longer flashes during repeated actions.
- Cursor Size setting has been added. This, plus the Custom Cursor setting have been added to the new Accessibility tab in the Settings Menu.
