This weeks update features fixes and feedback changes as we prepare for Araxxors launch next week.
Changelog August 21st
Osmumten's Fang Inventory Icon Changes
- Both the Standard and Ornamental Fang's Inventory icons now look bigger and clearer, as per your feedback.
Araxxor Arrives Next Week!
- The new Slayer boss, Araxxor, is set to weave some serious trouble starting next Wednesday, August 28th!
Summer Summit 2024
- Mark your calendars for September 7th, 8pm BST / 3pm ET / 12pm PT for all the exciting news this years Summer Summit will bring!
Other Changes
- The Key Master in Cerberus' Lair no longer shows a combat level.
- The Deadman: Armageddon variants of the Mage Arena 2 capes should now work as intended with the respective God Spells.
- Special attacks can once again be used in Last Man Standing on F2P worlds.
- Ironmen can now pick up the Keystone Crystal if a teammate drops it in the Chambers of Xeric. The crystal still awards points to the player who initially collected it, rather than to the player who uses it to complete the challenge room.
- The off-hand Imcando Hammer now correctly works with Infernal Eels and coconuts.
- Corrected a typo in the name of the off-hand Imcando Hammer.
- Corrected the name of the Cat Mask'.
- Tweaked a shrine in the Temple of Ranul to face away from the wall.
PvP Rota
The PvP rota has moved to Period A:
- 539 - (US) - PvP World
- 318 - (UK) - Bounty Hunter World
- 548 - (Germany) - High-Risk PvP World
- 577 - (US) - Free-to-Play PvP World
- 559 - (UK) - LMS Competitive
World 390 (AUS) for LMS Competitive has been activated with this rota.
World 569 (AUS) for Bounty Hunter has been activated with this rota.
The PvP Arena is using 'Zerker' loadouts in Ranked Duels and Tournaments this week.
Osmumten's Fang Icon Changes

Inventory icon adjustment to the Ornamental Osmumten's Fang
A few weeks ago, we tweaked Osmumten's Fang's model and special attack as part of the animation spring clean. This slight model adjustment ended up causing the Fangs Inventory icon to appear smaller than before, and you weren't keen on it. We heard you loud and clear, and the art team has been working on adjusting its Inventory icon based on your feedback. You'll be pleased to hear that both the Standard and Ornamental Fang's Inventory icons now look bigger and clearer, as per your request!

Araxxor Arrives Next Week!
The new Slayer boss, Araxxor, is crawling his way into Old School in a matter of days. This arachnoid menace is set to weave some serious trouble starting next Wednesday, August 28th!

Summer may be drawing to a close, but the Summer Summit 2024 is just around the corner!
