Update Notes 12/22: Embark on "Boundless Dream"

What’s up, Folks!
Here comes the new update! In this update, we introduce a new (part of...) option for [Bizarre Dream] called [Boundless Dream]: After defeating the final boss of [Hyperborean Jokul], you can continue your adventure. [Endless Journey] will now be adjusted to a separate mode option and matching queue. Additionally, this update brings avatars, emotes system, and adjustments to some Spirit Blessing. Hope you will enjoy them!
Besides, we plan to launch the new limited-time gameplay framework mentioned before in January. It requires a bit more time for optimizing and polishing, so please stay tuned!
From December 21st to January 4th (UTC-8), "Gunfire Reborn" and its DLC will have a special offer. Thank you once again for your attention and support : )

Stage

[Bizarre Dream]

New options: [Boundless Dream], In [Boundless Dream], as long as the heroes stand, their adventure will never cease

In [Boundless Dream]
  • Enemies will become stronger increasingly, and their DMG resistance will continue to increase
  • Recycling occult scrolls and golden goblets will provide certain bonuses
  • Golden goblets dropped by non-boss enemies are corrupted by demonic energy, and can only be used to replace existing ascensions with new ones
  • The frequency of Spiritual Remnant will decrease, and the Training Master will no longer appear
  • When carrying a certain number of occult scrolls, refreshing the shop and obtaining occult scrolls will no longer be limited to those not already carried
[Endless Journey]
  • Changed to a separate option under Reincarnation Level 9, no longer part of the [Bizarre Dream]
  • Matching queue changes; after selecting [Endless Journey], you will only be matched with players who have also chosen [Endless Journey]
  • CD reduction in recycling bonuses is adjusted to a maximum of 90%
[Spirit Link]
    Removed [Double Powder] New-Added [Refined Powder]
    • Essential: Spirit Blessing [Combat Elite], Ascension [Explosion Enhancement] level 3
    • Optional: Ascension [Precise Detonation], [Explosion Maniac], [Sustained Firepower]
    • Effect: +5% exploration DMG for every 1 meter of explosion AoE

Other Stages Optimization

  • Added some random routes of Vaults and stages in [Longling Tomb], [Anxi Desert] and [Hyperborean Jokul]

Effect Adjustments

[Lightning Messenger]
  • Old: After dealing a crit hit, inflict Shock effect on the inflicted enemy and all enemies within 3m; When Lei Luo attacks an enemy affected by Shock effect, increases Weapon and Skill DMG by 100%
  • New: After dealing a crit hit, inflict Shock effect on the inflicted enemy and all enemies within 3m; When Lei Luo attacks an enemy affected by Shock effect, increases Weapon and Skill DMG by 200%
[Smogbound Zone]
  • Old: +40% [Smoke Grenade] effective range, +5s duration; +20% DMG Resistance when you or your teammate is in the area of smoke grenade
  • New: +40% [Smoke Grenade] effective range, +5s duration; +20% DMG Resistance when you or your teammate is in the area of smoke grenade. +50% elemental DMG taken and +100% elemental effect chance of enemies when they are in the area of smoke grenade
[Elemental Maestro]
  • Old: Gain a buff for 4s every 10s. Grants +100% Elemental DMG and guarantees Elemental Effects with the buff
  • New: Elemental DMG won't get affected by the defense type. +60% total DMG to enemies in 2 types of elemental effect. +90% total DMG to enemies in 3 types of elemental effect
[Flame Dance]
  • Old: +30% Weapon DMG and +5% enemy DMG taken when inflicting the Burning Effect on the enemy (up to 10 stacks)
  • New: +30% DMG and +5% enemy DMG taken when inflicting the Burning Effect on the enemy (up to 10 stacks)
[Energy Draining]
  • Old: After casting [Spiritual Flame] , enter [Burn Out] state. +150% Weapon DMG, +10% Attack Speed, +10% Movement Speed, and recover 2 energy when inflicting Burning Effect, but consume 5 energy per second. Energy consumption and bonus effect increases by 100% for every 5s in Burn Out (up to 5 times). It ends when re-casting Spiritual Flame or energy runs out
  • New: Recover 2 energy when inflicting Burning Effect. After casting [Spiritual Flame], enter [Burn Out] state. +300% Weapon DMG, +20% Attack Speed, +20% Movement Speed, but consume 5 energy per second. +100% energy consumption, +50% bonus effect for every 5s in [Burn Out] (up to 4 times). It ends when re-casting [Spiritual Flame] or energy runs out
[Raging Inferno]
  • Old:+15% base DMG of [Spiritual Flame] for every enemy hit by it (-10 stacks when missed, up to 30 stacks). Recover 1 energy for every 2m moved
  • New: +45% Base DMG of [Spiritual Flame] for hitting one enemy with [Spiritual Flame] which consumed over 30 energy (up to 10 stacks, last for 90s). Restore 1 energy for every 2m move
[Mecha Crash]
  • Old: [Mecha Drop] deals extra DMG that is equivalent to Nona's Weapon DMG. -1s cooldown of [Mecha Drop] when reloading. +300% total DMG of next [Mecha Drop] after casting it 2 times
  • New: +50% total DMG of [Mecha Drop]. The DMG of the next 3 pistol shots after using [Mecha Drop] will be stored and dealt in the next [Mecha Drop]. -0.5s cooldown of it for every enemy hit by the pistol
[Sword Mastery]
  • Old: +50% RoF while using [Swords Out], and you can stack Blade Heart even when [Swords Out] is on cooldown
  • New: +50% RoF while using [Swords Out], +1 extra stack of Blade Heart (up to 3) for next [Sword Out] for every 2 stacks of Blade Heart obtained. You can gain stacks of Blade Heart even when [Swords Out] is on cooldown
[Thorny Bloom]
  • Old: For every [Fatal Bloom] you gained, +40% [Fatal Bloom] Base DMG for 30s, up to 30 stacks. Deal one more Skill DMG to the enemy when the mark of [Fatal Bloom] vanishes
  • New: +160 base DMG of [Fatal Bloom] for each use of it for 30s (up to 10 stacks). When the mark disappears, [Fatal Bloom] will strike the enemy twice again. +100% total DMG of these two strikes every time the enemy recieved DMG from Flying Sword while being marked

[Combat Elite]
  • Effect: No longer suffer movement speed reduction from Special Ammo Weapons. +25% total explosion DMG when dual-wielding for every meter of explosion AoE. -0.5s duration of Dual-Wield for every explosion DMG dealt. When not dual-wielding, -3 CDs of Dual-Wield every reload or use of [Explosive Grenade]

  • Replaced with a brand new reloading animation

Enemies

[Lu Wu] was adjusted in Reincarnation Level 9:

  • Shield cap bonus reduced from 200% to 100%
  • Increased interval between summoning Bombers

UI

  • Added avatars and emotes system, which can be accessed by clicking on the avatar in the main interface or the preparation room
  • DMG exceeding 1 billion will be displayed in an abbreviated form
  • Added a feature to recycle occult scrolls in the team information interface and the backpack interface
  • Optimized the rescue interaction; the rescue function will now automatically activate upon button release, without the need for a long press

System

  • Added the feature to add Steam friends in-game

BUG Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where players’ save was improper under certain circumstances
  • Fixed an issue where players were stuck at Notes Interface and not able to enter the game under certain circumstances
  • Fixed an issue where Lei Luo’s ascension [Gifted Man] did not grant a weapon DMG bonus for defeating enemies by crit hits beyond 15 meters under certain circumstances
  • Fixed an issue where the RoF bonus from Qing Yan’s ascension [Last Stand] was not effective
  • Fixed an issue where the explosion AoE of weapons not currently holden was improper occasionally while dual-wielding
  • Fixed an issue where the screen effects of [Storm Chaser] remained on the screen under certain circumstances
  • Fixed an issue where [Dragon Breath] fired improperly under certain circumstances
  • Fixed an issue where the powered arc tracking distance of [Thunder Storm] was improper under certain circumstances
  • Fixed an issue where [Enhanced·Premium Membership] and [Extravagant Consumption] were improper when copper coins reached the cap
  • Fixed an issue where the [Enhanced·Thunder Screen] was improper under certain circumstances
  • Fixed an issue where [Devil's Covenant] was not effective in [Spiritual Assault]
  • Fixed an issue where the Backup Energy task in [Mission From Above] ended prematurely under certain circumstances
  • Fixed an issue where the progress of the Aggressive Firepower task in [Mission From Above] was improper under certain circumstances
  • Fixed an issue where players could not proceed to the next stage in [Endless Journey] under certain circumstances
  • Fixed an issue where Imprinted weapons through [Transcendent Arsenal] were lost under certain circumstances
  • Fixed an issue where weapons could not be stored after being imprinted through [Transcendent Arsenal] under certain circumstances
  • Fixed an issue where the amount of Soul Essence which was required for Spiritual Goblet refreshment, displayed improperly in [Spiritual Assault] under certain circumstances
  • Fixed multiple issues where players may get stuck in some places of [Anxi Desert], [Duo Fjord] and [Hyperborean Jokul]
  • Fixed an issue where players could not pick up items dropped in certain locations of [Anxi Desert], [Duo Fjord] and [Hyperborean Jokul]
